Digital Art / Photomanipulation / Sci-Fi

Ok this is the first in a probable series of sci-fi wallpapers based around a story (I’m still coming up with the details, so it will be released latter (in the middle of session at uni so probably a lot latter)).

While most classic stories start ‘In the Beginning’ This one starts In The End, the end of a city, the death of the world’s leaders and the End of Hope.

This is my first real attempt at doing an artwork of this kind so any C&C would be welcome. I got the idea for this by looking at kol’s Strange World Wallpapers as well as browsing the sci-fi section at Dev Art.

very nicely done. I've been looking for an apocalyptic wallpaper. the red tint of the city along with the imminent fireball about to destroy it all, it's perfect.
